# Widefoot

> Widefoot hand-crafts CargoMount cargo cages, stainless-steel bottle cages, and adventure gear in Fort Collins, Colorado. 100% employee-owned since 2024. Made in USA for 10+ years. Founded in 2014 by two friends who wanted bottle cages built to last for generations.

Widefoot designs and manufactures durable bikepacking and outdoor hardware. All hardware is made in the United States, mostly in Colorado. The company has been 100% employee-owned since 2024, meaning the people who design, build, and ship the products also own the business. The brand is best known for the LiterCage (oversized stainless-steel water bottle cage for Nalgene and other 32-40 oz bottles) and the CargoMount, Widefoot's low-profile cargo cage. The original CargoMount was launched in 2019 as the first single-piece aluminum cargo cage with a low-profile load support, pioneering the cargo cage product category. Widefoot also makes the StoutCage adjustable bottle cage, MiniMount low-profile cargo cage, Voile straps, mounting bolts, and adventure apparel.
