Low-profile Cargo Cage
Made in Colorado, USA

US Patent 12,195,131

In 2019 the CargoMount™ Classic created a new class of single piece aluminum cargo cages. The CargoMount™ builds on this design by utilizing an internally threaded tube to create a strong, low-profile, and removable load support.

Securely strap down a variety of bottles, smaller bags, and cylindrical objects to your bike frame or fork.

Constructed from durable and lightweight 5052 aluminum, this cargo cage comes in anodized finishes of Black, Silver, Purple, and Orange. The regular size weighs only 78g with the CargoNoodle load support, while the Mega version weighs 98g, making it one of the lightest cargo cages available.

Attach your CargoMount to three-bolt mounting systems using our unique slot configuration, which allows fine tuning at multiple positions on frames and forks. For more information on installation and use, see Description below, and Voile Straps page.

Load Support Type

  • CargoNoodle (Standard) – Low-profile design, 7.5g
  • BagNoodle (Extended) – +42mm height for soft-sided cargo, 15g (7.5g heavier) [+$3.00]

STRONG AND REMOVABLE

The CargoNoodle™ attaches with m5 hardware to create a strong, yet removable support that opens up a variety of use cases

MADE IN THE USA

CargoMounts are proudly made in the United States, right here in Colorado.

“Widefoot’s CargoNoodle is ingenious. Not only is it stronger than bending the actual cage material, which can eventually weaken over time, but it’s also replaceable in the case of a heavy impact or crash. I’ve had no issues with cargo slipping, and because of how low profile the platform is, I haven’t managed to smack it against anything either.”

CHOOSE YOUR LOAD SUPPORT

CargoNoodle (Standard) The low-profile CargoNoodle works best with hard-sided cargo like water bottles, fuel canisters, and bags with internal stiffeners. At just 7.5g, it provides a strong, removable platform while maintaining minimal clearance.

BagNoodle (Extended) – NEW For soft-sided bags like dry bags and stuff sacks, the BagNoodle extends 42mm (1.65″) higher than the standard CargoNoodle, preventing cargo from compressing and flopping over the cage sides. The extra support also benefits larger structured fork bags. Weighs 15g (7.5g heavier than CargoNoodle).

Both load supports use the same M5 hardware attachment system and are available in clear anodized silver finish. Easily swap between them based on your cargo needs. Buy them separately here.

Installation and Use:

A) Install CargoMount by using three bolts to secure to frame or fork mounting bosses. Use 2 bolts and non-bolt mounting applications at your own risk.
B) Thread two straps through, then around the outside of the CargoMount. Wrap straps around your cargo, and securely fasten according to your straps instructions so that movement of cargo is eliminated. Tuck away any loose ends, and keep away from moving parts. Use of two straps is always recommended.

Note: Mounting hardware is not included. Installation by a professional bicycle mechanic is recommended. Consult with your bicycle manufacturer if you have questions about compatibility with your bike frame or fork. Use of two straps is recommended. Always ensure your CargoMount, straps, and cargo are securely fastened and not interfering with moving parts before riding.

The standard cargo mount fits nicely on the down tube, so I can bring an extra quart of water and still have room for a standard bottle cage above. I also ordered two of the larger cages, so I could carry a couple larger bottles, or small panniers. The design is aesthetically pleasing and very functional. I appreciated the color options.

    Excited to use it!

Love these for my 1.5L Nalgene bottles below my downtube and they work great on my fork mounts to hold mini bags!

  4. Long story short, these cages have put holes in my dry bags. The design is great for bottles, but not for bags. For reference I have a Sea to Summit 8L dry bags attached to one cage, and a RoadRunner 7L Buoy Bag attached to the other cage.

I’m definitely not happy that these cages have ruined $120 worth of dry bags.
